We have all been there, when you cannot shake a bad mood, or when angry emotions or an upset gets the best of us. Ideally, it is best to process our negative emotions and let go of stress as quickly as possible, but sometimes this is easier said than done.
Today I am going to show you a very simple, yet amazing acupressure and tapping technique that is extremely helpful for breaking out of a bad mood or lower negative emotional states quickly.
Chinese medicine explains that Meridians are energy pathways that run along the surface of the skin and connect acupressure points and our internal organs.
Just as blood vessels transport blood and nourish the body physically; meridians circulate restorative energy to all the systems of the body.
There are twelve bilateral meridians that run along both sides of the body and relate to specific organs. When energy is flowing smoothly in the meridians and organs there is good health. When energy is stagnated, excessive or deficient, there is illness, disruption or disease.
The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system, but specific points along the meridians – called trigger points can help you navigate out of upset, anger, anxiety, even insomnia and addiction with greater ease.
Energy flow in the meridians can be manipulated by various techniques such as acupuncture, acupressure, tapping, heat and cupping techniques
I have personally experienced for myself and with numerous clients, the tremendous break through results when applying different acupressure and trigger point therapies for balancing the body emotionally and mentally.
I recommend working w a skilled practitioner to help with emotional clearing and balancing of energies within the meridians, but these self-care techniques I am sharing with you today can be very effective.
Here are some of the best acupressure and trigger points for emotional balancing, when relieving anger, irritability, anxiety, panic attacks, nervousness, breaking bad habits and even insomnia.
